I just received a copy of my dissertation adviser's book, "From Dryden to Jane Austen."
by Dr. Hoyt Trowbridge. It was sold by a private seller on Amazon for $3.93. The shipping added 
$5.00 to the cost of the book. I plan to report on the contents of Dr. Trowbridge's book
in my blog "Johnson's Quarrel with Swift."

Dr. Trowbridge opened up a new universe for this child from Coney Island.

He was a great scholar, excellent teacher, and as a Dean of the University of New Mexico,
someone who instilled a sense of justice so lacking in big universities.
